Why 2,500 nits?
Standard consumer panels wash out in ambient light above 500 lux — typical retail, hospitality, and transit environments exceed 1,000 lux. At 2,500 nits with an integrated ambient light sensor, this display maintains full readability from direct overhead fluorescents to west-facing window light without manual adjustment.
